Loyalty....

Baseball season has been over for almost 2 months, and now things are about to get crazy... SO, Anyway, my premise for this is loyalty...I wanna know how someone can say they don't play for the money, they are there for the fans, THEN, enter into serious contract negotiations. If you are loyal to your team and fans, take what the team can offer you. Yea, you wanna win, but if you want a ridiculous payday, they aren't gonna be able to afford anyone else, unless you're the Yankees, and then you may be stuck on a crap team, like the Cubs. Come on, who really NEEDS 50 million a year??? Personally, I feel NO-ONE is worth that much... I love baseball, and I have studied alot on the history of the game, and I do believe the founders, and individuals who shaped the this game would roll over in their graves if they saw what greed has done to this beautiful sport...
